Hey Let’s go to the NHL playoffs 😉

So, Joe had an idea-if the Knights make it to round two, we’re going. They did. We did. This could be the fastest and craziest trip yet! All week I worried about the timing involved with landing and actually making it to the game. I’m telling you now, the Gods were with us for this one!

We left out of Indy at 3:40 (I know, not my typical travel day-I’m a let’s fly before the sun rises gal), and the plane was PACKED!

Seamus is virus ready because masks are only required on Federal grounds.
Still flying with masks. Boys almost fully vaccinated at this point.

We had a bumpy flight, landed early, and sat on the tarmac. And sat. Finally we were off the plane and running. Literally. Originally we planned out that I would take the boys in a cab to the game and Joe would get the rental car and get there later. Divine intervention took place and Joe stayed with us. Thank goodness. We had the BEST cabby in Vegas who snuck his way through game traffic and literally deposited us at the check in counter for Park MGM where we’re staying. Joe used the digital check in and we were able to leave our stuff in the room and run across the street to the game before puck drop!!! I’m still amazed how fast we were able to get to TMobile from the airport! It. Was. Amazing!!

Here we come!
We made it!!
Heading into the game and on two sets of escalators up to our seats in section 223!
Our view for the game. Not too shabby!
It wouldn’t be Vegas without a show!
Ready to cheer!
Here come the Knights!!
Great view!

And the Knights bring home the win! It was an amazing game with a 5-1 win to even the series 2-2!!!

Victory ❤️
Vegas was ready to celebrate!

After the game Joe and I headed back to the airport to pick up the rental car. After waiting about 45 minutes in line, we finally went up to the garage to get our car. The poor girl had to bring the cars up one at a time with a runner taking her back down. There was a Mercedes sitting up top and she offered it to us-why not??

Let’s roll!

Next we had to find a place to eat. At this point the only place we could find was Shake Shack outside our hotel. Even though it was 3 AM our time, we were ready to eat and then get some sleep!

Inside Shake Shack
Yummy! The shakes were just ok at best though.
Seamus Shake
Obligatory puck shot
The Park

It was a crazy day!!
