I forgot to write this post. So, it’s summer, why not now? Let’s hope my memory holds up!
Universal Studios. I was most excited about this day because of Harry Potter world. Our hotel was close by and offered a shuttle. Yeah. That didn’t work out so well. Who cares? We can drive and be on our own schedule. First stop was VooDoo Donuts until we saw the hour wait. So, Auntie Annie’s pretzels for us!
So we headed in to the park. Ok these lines were long! We used the app and found our feet. The park was at capacity for the day; that had just started back up the week we arrived!! We tried to wait for the Shrek Show but the line was crazy so we headed to ET!
So clearly I didn’t take as many pictures here because I was enjoying the rides! But we got as many rides in as we could. Hot both parks and the Harry Potter ride and ran like crazy. Longest line was for King Kong. It was ok. Not great. Seamus and I have decided we need to go back!

So we didn’t get to ride Hogwarts Express this time but found it easy to go back and forth between the parks. For lunch we had burgers and fries. You had to order through the app like Disney, but Universal did deliver the food!
We ended our day with literally walking on to the Transformers ride! Because it was SO cold and windy! Seamus had two sweatshirts on to cut the cold that night! Now, it was warmer than Ohio, but still! The shoppes on the way out received some love from us and we were ready to head for home! The drive through Atlanta was terrible! We pulled into an outlet mall to try to pass some of the time but still sat for several hours trying to get back! We had a great time but were ready to get home for Easter!!
