Here we go! On our drive up to Toronto Airport to fly Iceland Air to Reykjavik and then on to Dublin and the UK.

Our flight doesn’t leave until tomorrow night, but we plan on exploring Toronto for a bit before our flight. Poor Diana is at home with Molly and Mojo, keeping them safe for us!

We stopped at the Michigan Welcome Center where Seamus was less than happy about taking this photo.

Here’s Seamus sharing. You get 3🤦♀️

So we made it to the Ambassador Bridge in Detroit. Where it closely resembles a used car lot. No rhyme or reason to car lines. I have no words to describe this!!!

Trying to get through border patrol was interesting; lines were weird coming in but everything eventually worked out into long lines. We waited about 25 minutes to get through it all. Our officer was nice but asked a lot of questions about our arrest records and anything that may keep us from being allowed back in the country. I don’t think he believed us that we had no arrests🤣But we were finally in the country!!! Welcome to Canada! And yes, the boys all sang the Canadian national anthem as we drove into town🤣

The roads up here are in MUCH better shape than ours and their rest areas are pretty darn nice. We averaged about 27 mpg, which I’m impressed with for sure! Finally we made it to our hotel outside of Toronto in Mississauga. It’s been really foggy all night so I’m hoping we see more in the morning 😳. Now it’s time to sleep!!
