Slainte!

Back on the train gang! We boarded our final train to Dublin; by now we’re pretty good on finding the platform and boarding the trains!

Morning shopping and breakfast in Cork before heading back
View from the hotel
Our hotel room. Not a bad location!
Cork train station
Our luggage became bffs on the trip!
We are pros at this by now!!

Temple Bar Inn was our final hotel of the trip; prime location and nice rooms. We had stayed here before on the Holy Slainte tour and knew it was a good landing spot to finish out our journey. First off was some lunch before hitting the Guinness Brewery with the Hursts while the boys headed back over to Grafton Street for some final shopping before early taxi departures in the morning.

A very strange UPS truck
The boys won some Burger King bling!
We made it!!

Now as it was the kids’ first trip we let them lead the way and explore while the older, wiser ones followed and enjoyed every second.

Beautiful
Artistic and inviting
Great interactive areas we love and they change a bit each time
Chasing bubbles
Famous ad campaigns
Guinness tasting
Catherine playing the harp
Trying Guinness 0.0
Hanging out with our baby tastes
Tasting the 0.0
Cheers!!

Next stop was the Gravity Bar on the top floor overlooking Dublin with a circular bar. When Joe and I first came here 26 years ago it was empty; but no longer. We grabbed our tasting and admired the view before heading back to the hotel and one last dinner in Dublin before heading to the airport early the next morning: the Kennedys our first to Charlotte, followed by the Hursts to Toronto, and Jacob to Dallas! Amazingly we all made it back without much issue at all!!

The clock hit several security spots and the Irish loved taking it completely apart!!
